Hello,

I have recently tried TENS (transcutaneous electrical stimulation) stimulation, using 4 electrodes attached to the area of the jaw. Caution must be used to avoid impacting vagus nerve as it might effect the heart.

It appears that constant firing of low electrical impulse cause nerves to temporary exhaust themselves. I believe this is based on the Gate Theory of pain.
