"Please Need Advice"

Ten days ago I went in to a regular dentist and had my wisdom teeth extracted. When he first started with the noviane injection on my lower right wisdom tooth I felt a stabbing electrical pain right off I jumped and told him what I felt and he said don't worry this is normal so he kept on injecting. During the whole procedure I felt these electrical stabbing pains shooting to my ear and down my neck. When I got home everything seemed ok until it wore off. I was in extreme pain in my jaw and my ear. I tried to call the dentist but guess what he is out off town with no back up for three weeks. So i found a dentist at 10 a night who told me what I was feeling was not normal so he met me that night . At first I thought I had dry socket or an infection but the guy told me no that he needed to put my nerve to sleep I freaked at this point and refused to let him near my nerve afraid that maybe he would cause more harm than good.
Anyways I went to the urgent care last night due to the pain under my tounge and on my jaw. They told me they thought I was also having nerve pain and I needed to see an oral surgon. None will take me due to post op complication they tell me the insurance will not cover it.. So basically will this go away on its own or will it remain. Any advice would be helpful Thanks

hi...did Urgent Care prescribe anything for your pain? It was my family doctor who finally prescribed a stronger painkiller for me in the first few weeks. Do you have a GP that you can go to? The first step should be to get your pain under control.

Are oral surgeons not obliged to take patients who are referred for care, insurance or no insurance?? Are you in Florida?
