"update"

JUST WANTED TO UPDATE ON MY LATEST SITUATION, I WENT TO HAVE MY ROOT CANAL AND I WAS SCARED TO DEATH, BUT EVERYTHING WENT BASICALLY OK.

WHEN HE FINISHED WITH MY ROOT CANAL HE SAID THE DENTIST THAT DID MY CROWN PREP DIDNT GET ALL THE CAVITY OUT SO I DO HAVE TO HAVE THAT DONE BEFORE I GET MY PERMANENT CROWN. OTHER THAN THAT I GUESS IT IS OK.

I WAS NUMB ALL THE WAY UP INTO MY EAR...BUT THANK GOODNESS IT ALL WENT AWAY AND I AM FINE..

SO I NOW ONLY HAVE THE LEFT SIDE NUMBNESS WHICH SEEMS TO BE SLOWLY GETTING SOME FEELING.

THE FEELING COMING BACK IS VERY DISTURBING KIND OF SENSATION, IT IS VERY WEIRD KIND OF FEELING. IT IS GOOD THAT IT IS COMING BACK I JUST HOPE IT DOESNT STOP AT THIS POINT.

WELL THANKS FOR LISTENING...WILL POST LATER

HI PATTY, You sure were brave to go back this soon for a root canal ? Glad to hear that went ok except for the cavity left behind ? One would just assume that that should be taken care of before the the permanent crown is placed ... Did you switch dentists ? You are right about the disturbing kind of sensations that occur when the feeling starts to come back .. that feeling can make you feel like you want to jump right out of your own skin ... I hope you are one that gets total relief soon from the torture that you have encountered ... Hang in there ...

Do not go back to anyone who left decay in your tooth.

Well I have to go back to him for the completion of my crown, he is the one that did my crown prep, then saw that I needed a root canal and sent me for that and then that endodontist found he hadnt gotten all the cavity out and so now I have to go back and let him take care of that and then put on my permanent crown. Insurance and all and lack of very much of it prohibits me from changing now. I know it is the last time he will get in my mouth though after this. I will find a new dentist after this. But thank you for the information, I would follow your advice if financially I could change it. Thanks again.
