"Any one from the UK"

   Hi,

I am from the Uk, is there any one else on the site from the Uk that as had any good pain management or knows of anything that will help me that i can buy from the chemist. I have damage to the IAN?

I am going to see the OS on the 2/6 and i would like to be able to take some info with me on pain managment. I have not been given any thing for my pain at the moment and i feel that i do need something even if it is only for when i have a really bad episode.

If there is any one that can help me on this please reply and many thanks in advance.

Look forward to your replys

how is it in UK as far as the cost of medical treatment, let's say going to visit OS, is that covered by the national insurance? I am truly considering moving there as I see nothing promising here in US, and was recently denied coverage with major company Blue Cross Blue Shield, due to my "preexisting condition". I know it's a struggle there too, but at least when you have some surgery you are not left with $10,000 to pay (sometimes even WITH insurance).

Everything is covered, you only have to pay for drugs which is a set price for all around £6.50 if you work and free if you don't.

it is good but sometimes you have to wait a long time to see some one, i have been lucky i have a good Doctor that is understanding and gets me seen quickly.

I would not have been able to have the things done if it had not been for the NHS as i have other problems that are very rare with my eyes that would have cost around £5000 for the treatment. This was all free.

The Uk is a nice place but it as its problems like anywere else but you would be wellcome to come and see what you think of the place.

Yes, I have a family member there who just told me his wife had a baby and everything was very much cared for. The nurses kept making sure that the mother was not thirsty and always fed.
