Was this a general dentist? Did he remove the abcess? If not, you just mihgt want to have it removed and get on some antibiotic therapy. If need be, what state are you in and perhaps I have heard of a good oral surgeon.
Xrays will not determine why the pain is there - it takes 50% bone loss (i believe) before it shows anything, ya know in the jaw. it does not seem to be a useful tool in determining what is going on. I wish you a quick recovery. Please do tell us you are on antibiotics and keep us updated. Randi |
